Lumi

The painting portrays my father. I wanted to create a scene that evokes silence, reflection, frugality, poverty, humility, dignity. Some of the things that my father taught me the importance of. In the evening, when we are alone with ourselves, the truth sits at the table with us, and tells us who we are, who we have been, what we have done or not done, for ourselves, for our evolution, for others, for the community, for the world. The light reveals all things, purity is illuminated, lies are crushed. The characters in my paintings must be in close connection with the scene and with what I want to say, there must be Truth.
